A celadon jade reclining horse with brown mottling (late Ming dynasty, 17th century)

The large boulder carved in the form of a recumbent horse modelled with its head and maned neck turned back over the front leg. Its hoofed legs tucked under the body. The details are well indicated with the face and the hair on its mane and tail carved with very fine incisions.
